Don't Bash, Just Ask! A Panel about Millennials BY Millennials
Panelists: Katie Aguirre, CWP, Sydney Archer, CPCE,
Stephanie Olivares, CPCE, CTA
Moderator: Sarah James, CPCE

Love us or hate us, millennials aren’t going anywhere! Join the Alamo Chapter of NACE on Tuesday, November 12th as we dive deep into the millennial mind during Don't Bash, Just Ask! A Panel about Millennials BY Millennials. As a business owner, department head or event professional working with millennials, have you ever wondered WHY they are the way they are? Do you need to know the best way to manage the millennial generation? This session will take you from Millennial Dread to Millennial Edge, as you gain the tools, insight and understanding to lead and work alongside the millennial generation – direct from the source! This panel is designed to be an open and honest conversation - no topic or question off limits!

After entering the event industry as young professionals, Katie, Stephanie and Sydney quickly saw the perception and bias their bosses and coworkers had about their generation and have worked to reframe that perception and become respected in their industry. All local NACE Chapter leaders, these three ambitious ladies have had to endure countless presentations, talks and frustrations by other generations about their own generation – the dreaded millennial. The goal for this presentation is to shatter the negative image of millennials and shed a new, brighter light on the generation that is the future of your company. With insight from moderator Sarah James, who has led multiple multi-generational teams in the workplace and on NACE boards, this panel will teach you how to understand the millennial ways of thinking and doing things, how to motivate millennials and keep them engaged, how to collaborate with millennials and how to help them meet their full potential.

Our event will be held at the gorgeous Hotel Valencia. The hotel staff and culinary team will be showcasing their top of the line customer service with a delicious dinner and open bar.
