Join the NACE Alamo Chapter on Tuesday, March 3rd and enjoy a delicious dinner showcasing new wine trends that will open your eyes and your pallet.  Don’t let your lack of familiarity with wine, descriptors, or terminology stop you from sharing these fun flavors with your customers. Join Monique Studak, a seasoned and entertaining educator, as she addresses all these issues and your questions. During this meeting you'll hear about the latest wine trends, learn how to describe different wines to your customers in a compelling way, and get the latest insight on pairing wines with the hottest food trends. Cheers!

Monique Studak has been in the wine business for over 25 years. She currently works on the National Account team at Pernod Ricard focusing on Wine and Champagne.  Monique feels fortunate to have started her wine career in the Texas wine industry with Messina Hof, and then spent 16 years with the E&J Gallo Family. Her specialty is in creating interesting and profitable wine programs that benefit her customer and their guests. Monique’s passion lies in wine education, helping people to connect to the magic of the grape. She spent 5 years as an adjunct professor at the Conrad Hilton College of Hotel and Restaurant Management at the University of Houston, and still presents educational programs to a number of industry organizations. Monique is a Certified Sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers, a Certified Specialist of Wine, and a Certified Specialist of Spirits. She is a founding member of Women of Wine Charities based in Houston and an active member of NACE.
